How much does the course cost?
The course costs $6.95.
How long does the course take?
It is designed to take approximately 2–4 hours. Individual completion time varies.
Can I take the course on my phone?
Yes. The course supports access from modern mobile phones, tablets, and computers.
Can I retake the assessment?
Yes. Unlimited retakes are included.
What score is required to pass?
You must complete the required training and score at least 70% on the 40-question assessment.
When do I receive my certificate?
After you successfully complete the course requirements, your certificate is available for immediate download.
Do certificate reprints cost extra?
No. Certificate reprints are free.
How long is the certificate valid?
The IFSHH Food Handler Training Certificate is issued for a three-year term. A state, local authority, or employer may impose a different renewal requirement.
Does the course provide CEUs or college credit?
No. The program does not award academic credit, college credit, CEUs, contact hours, or other continuing-education credit.
Does the certificate make me certified?
No. You may state that you successfully completed the IFSHH Food Handler Training Certificate Program and earned its certificate. You should not describe yourself as certified, licensed, accredited, or registered on that basis.
Is the course accepted in every state?
No. Acceptance varies by state and local jurisdiction. Check the state guide and official local source before purchasing.
