How IFSHH protects information associated with this website and its certificate programs. Last updated August 1, 2026.
Information collected
This informational website does not directly create learner accounts or collect payment-card details. Its hosting provider may create standard security and server logs, such as IP address, browser, device, requested page, referring page, and access time. If you contact IFSHH, we receive the information you choose to provide. The separate e-learning platform collects the account, course-progress, assessment, certificate, and transaction information needed to administer the program.
Course registration and payment
Course registration is handled at foodsafety-training.net/edu. Payments are processed through Authorize.Net. Payment-card information is transmitted to the payment processor and is not intended to be stored on this informational website. The privacy and security practices of the e-learning hosting provider and Authorize.Net also apply when you use those services. The Authorize.Net merchant seal image is stored on this website; Authorize.Net is contacted only if you click the verification link or continue to payment.
How information is used
Information is used as necessary to operate and secure the site, respond to learners, administer certificate-program activities, complete transactions, evaluate and improve programs, satisfy accreditation or regulatory requirements, and support legitimate business operations.
Confidential certificate-program information
Learner records, assessment materials, assessment results, answer keys, scoring guides, and other confidential information are protected from unauthorized disclosure. Access is limited to authorized personnel with a legitimate business need.
No solicitation use
IFSHH does not use learner information for solicitation purposes and does not authorize others to use learner information for solicitation on its behalf. IFSHH does not sell learner personal information.
No advertising trackers, session replay, or chat monitoring
This informational site does not currently use analytics or advertising pixels, behavioral advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, session-replay software, social-media embeds, chat widgets, or third-party video embeds. Essential hosting or security technologies may be used to deliver and protect the site. If a nonessential tracking technology is proposed later, it must be reviewed before deployment and this notice and any required consent controls must be updated first.
No sale or sharing for targeted advertising
IFSHH does not sell personal information and does not share personal information from this informational site for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. Because those activities are not performed here, there is no advertising sale or sharing to opt out of on this site.
Retention and security
IFSHH keeps certificate-program records for the period needed to administer and verify certificates, meet accreditation and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect program integrity. Administrative, technical, and access controls are used to protect records, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may contact IFSHH to ask about access, correction, or deletion rights that apply to you. Some records may need to be retained to verify certificate status, protect assessment security, or satisfy accreditation, legal, and record-retention obligations.
